Sunday Beauty #113 (and a Sunday Ugly too)
Here’s another interesting image for your Sunday.

(How’s that for a “unforgettable face”?)
Sunday Ugly:
Here it is – 2013 – and criminals still think sending this *crud* is an effective money-making strategy. Why?
Certainly, the cost of mailing is negligible (aka “free”) but why bother if nobody answers?
Oh. Some *humans* must still be responding to them.
Don’t have people comparing your IQ to a box of rocks: resist the “curiosity” and simply practice the Basic Rule of Email – Do Not Open Email from People You Do Not Know. (sorry, “Dr Peters”.)
Today’s quote: “The best way to cheer yourself up is to try to cheer somebody else up.” ~ Mark Twain
(Yes, I’ve posted this one before. But my spidey-sense tells me to post it again today…)

These Beautiful Animals!!!
Gaia,
Some nice photography there.
When I see a pic of a lion, I always think of The Lion King – Circle of Life So proud and beautiful.
delenn13,
Well.. nice, yes. But my early exposure was Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom, and a trip (as a kid) to a brand new “theme park” called Lion Country Safari.
So when I see a picture like that, I don’t think of Lion King cartoons, I think “I hope somebody fed him recently…..”
Ha!
Yep, Marlin Perkins. And we used to see the lions at Busch Gardens,,back in the early 60′s before you had to pay to get in. The gardens/animal tours were free..the tour of brewery was 50 cents.
delenn13,
50¢.
Trying to think what that’ll buy you today…
Um…
I think it’ll still buy a (postage) stamp.. But I could be wrong.
For those of us that are true “NFL Junkies” and are experiencing football withdrawals, I thought I’d share a few of the shows I’ve been watching over the past week. There’s more than enough “boring” analysis and debates, but I’ve also seen some fairly long, interesting video clips of the championship games (See “Turning Point”). There are plenty of repeats so you can see them all if you’re interested.
I’ll apologize ahead of time for any errors or omissions…

balmy33,
I guess I am not the only one who went through ‘football withdrawal’ this weekend… Sure hope you didn’t have to hand-type that!
