Latest Flash Version Breaks Things

Folks–
No, you aren’t seeing things, and no, it’s (probably) not a new infection on your machine.
Adobe’s recent Flash Player update has caused a lot of trouble (particularly to Firefox users)  by failing to work with several web sites that rely heavily on Flash.

You may find it easiest to use IE until Adobe and Webmasters get the glitch squared away.

  1. I know this problem. In a way I did not mind at first because I don’t have enough time to watch every 60 second clip anyway. The problem started about two months ago, but about two weeks ago it cleared up on its own. I have not really had any problem since. ???

  2. I’m not sure what the update push cycle is/was, but in the last week was when the calls started coming in to my shop.

I myself only experienced one hang (On Cisco’s Academy site), and that was using Firefox. I haven’t been back there to see if it’s cleared up, but I suspect it will be shortly if it’s not already.
