• About Tech Paul
I am a Retired computer & network technician. I used to think the machines were pretty cool. Now I don’t.
They’re anything but.
I regularly posted how-to’s and tricks & tips and general computing advice here starting in 2007. (Use the Search tool to find answers. But be aware, many are rather dated.) Sometimes I answered (your) specific questions in an article if I believed the answer was generally helpful to “everyone”. All the writing you see was my own, typos and all. There always is/was an implied “IMHO” in what you see here.

Congrats.
1,000 comments is an amazing number!! That number represents a community amongst your readers, in a sense.
It’s not often that a writer can generate that special enthusiasm amongst readers, such that a reader will take the time, and make the effort, to comment.
Very well done.

Why, I thank you sir.
I have always believed that the ability to leave comments, and/or ask questions, is one of the things that is great about the “blog” and “Web 2.0”. I have made it easy here (anonymous comments are allowed) for people to participate, and encourage them to do so.
Newspapers and the TV news are failing (going out of business failing) and blog readership continues to grow. I think the “participatory” aspect of the “new media” is a big reason for these facts.

Congratulations…
You have a lot to offer here at “Tech-for Everyone”. It is one of my favorite reads “everyday”. I know when I visit here I’m going to learn something; plus, the courtesy you project in responding to comments is very welcoming.

I thank you sir. And right back at you– whatsonmypc.com is a daily read for me as well (and, the older I get, the fewer of those there are!).
