I am hearing quite a few complaints about the latest Firefox update (3.0.10) but not about the beta, nor this particular issue.. and haven’t had any glitches or gotchas myself. (Tech Paul knocks on wood here)

SOP with this sort of thing is to:
      Export your Bookmarks/data
Completely uninstall Firefox (I recommend using Revo for that)
Download and install a fresh Firefox
      Import Bookmarks/data

Also, you can look at Tools> Options >Privacy (tab) and click the “Settings” button in “Clear private data”. Make sure the Passwords option isn’t checked…

I am glad you figured it out, and I’m sure my readers appreciate your update.

      .. cookie monster.. ha!

Remember folks, part of the “fun” of beta software is you get to find the bugz.

  3. G,

Been running the beta and have not experienced that issue. Thanks for posting your experience…

TechPaul… Thanks for the tip. Just added it to my “how to” collection.

  4. rick: i don’t think it’s an issue. the last update just made it possible (and by default) to remove all cookies on exit. i just simply unchecked that box.

  5. G,

I probably should not have used that word “issue”… Thanks for clarifying. More a setting, not an issue…

    Thanks G…
