Tech – for Everyone

Tech Tips and Tricks & Advice – written in plain English.

Everybody Hurts, Sometimes.

A pretty song with an important message

When the day is long and the night, the night is yours alone, When you’re sure you’ve had enough of this life, well hang on. Don’t let yourself go, ’cause everybody cries and everybody hurts sometimes…

So hold on. Hold on. Hold on.

  1. Such a beautiful piece of music, the lyrics, the beautiful stallions, the rolling desert, the props… Different to see horses in a scene as part of emotion and sadness.
    It’s a nice deviation!

    • Gaia,
I do not believe this is the “official video” but something a creative person assembled on their own.. and their choices had me a bit puzzled. And the sound quality isn’t the greatest.

But it is worth looking at.

  2. A creative person did ‘on their own” even greater!

I like the idea that those “who used to be called amature” are “now’ able to share their talent with the world, often very professional.

    • Gaia,
The ability for “average people” to post content to the Web (sometimes called “Web 2.0”, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Web_2.0) is changing the world.. if you doubt me, ask the “mainstream media”.. particularly newspaper owners.

Perhaps most important is when this ability is used to get news into, or out of, Totalitarian states.

  3. Paul I don’t doubt you, I realize how the internet has changed the world, yes, the media, as you say ‘newsprint’, again yes,Totalitarian states and countries…

I usually “don’t do” the U- tube stuff – I see it can be interesting, like this time.and on U-tube I watched Susan Boyle, she was astoundingly, great – in my opinion, again based on her background, then success.

    • Gaia,
The cell phone video camera and “upload sites” such as YouTube are powerful new tools, as the footage of Neda Soltan showed.

And Susan Boyle … who can say that the Internet wasn’t a-buzz?
