Tech – for Everyone

Tech Tips and Tricks & Advice – written in plain English.

Saturday in paradise..

A Word To Faithful Friends Of Tech – for Everyone

This “Tech” D-I-Y Tips & Tricks, Advice and Answers website was launched in mid-2007. I have published six days a-week (over 950 articles ago now) pretty much without a break or respite. It is time for one.
For the next week to ten days, I will be here…

In my mind, anyway… Mentally, I have teleported to a tropical paradise. Spring is here, and I have “the fever”!

I may put up some of my older posts again, or I might not. I will continue to answer reader mail/comments, as I always do. But I must step away and recharge my batteries, before my “blogger’s burnout” reaches “critical mass”.

I thank you for your patience and understanding.. and I remind you that all 974 previous articles are available for you to peruse (or, re-peruse) in the “Previous Tips & Answers” and keyword Search tools in the right-hand widget column.

    • Mary H,
Yes it is. These (to the best of my knowledge, “amateur”) photographers I have been featuring have some talent!

  2. glad you will take a needed rest from your arduous efforts to keep tech talk and troubleshooting accessible to the masses.

today’s spring equinox was a perfect day to begin succumbing to spring fever. the strollers along sunset blvd had no care in the world as they enjoyed the warm weather. visiting old friends, i enjoyed the people watching and the many cultural treats nearby their apartment/b&b duplex. i have enjoyed the first day of summer, hope all your readers did, too.

    • Lady T,
Thank you, and thank you also for reminding me of the equinox. I’ll be glad for the longer, warmer days.
… Arduous might be laying it on a little thick, but writing six days a week for three years running (on basically one subject) is a bit tiring, and more work than one might think. A break was indeed required.

  3. Another journey Hawaii, “cool” almost like being there for real.

With those sunny days, (in Canada too)
Spring Fever takes over, reminding us that we need a break from work, from our routines…

…and for you Paul a well earned break from the “tech world” helpful info. of which you faithfully provided to us each day.

… furthermore, as recent as yesterday, I needed info. about opening emails… there was your List Of Postings, right at my finger tips, so easy and fast to retrieve, thanks again.
Continue your journies… come back rested and refreshed.

    • Gaia,
I am very pleased to hear that you (a self-professed “non-techie”) find my writings useful and understandable. Thank you for taking the time to let me know that.

Folks, there are almost a thousand Tips and How To articles here, and they are indexed and “searchable”. Enter “e-mail” in my Search tool, and see what comes up. Want to know about the new Windows 7? Simply enter “windows 7” and click the search button: every article that mentions that word will come up.
