Winding Down…
The final days of my “mental vacation” are upon me. I must say that it was very healthy for me to take a break, and recharge my batteries; and I must also say that I hope that you, Dear Reader, will get a chance to take a break and unwind too. Stop. And smell the roses. As they say.
Modern life is hectic, and there are “never enough hours in the day”. More than half of us live in over-crowded, noisy, cities. Thanks to cellular phones, we can be interrupted and distracted no matter where we happen to be or what we happen to be doing… We live in the age of Xtreme, Always-on, Instant, Drive-Thru.
Stop. Smell the roses. Unwind. Turn off the cell and the TV. Try it. You just might like it.

Have a great weekend folks
Paul, hope you had a great holiday in all those beautiful places, that you are refreshed and ready to share your tech world with us again, as I look forward to the great “reads” on your daily blog.

g,
Unfortunately, I could only escape to those locales in my imagination.
Fortunately, I have a pretty good imaginator.
I thank you for your support.

Feels good, doesn’t it… Good to take a break once in awhile. When you are working and keeping a blog going, on a daily basis, it does wear one down quickly.

Rick,
Yes and, yes. And I learned two things too: I won’t go three years without a break again; and, I will try very hard to take a real holiday sometime – the “mental vacation” was nice but…
I hope that you will keep an eye on your “blogger’s batteries” levels, and take care, so that you can keep at it as you do too. I have come to rely on a daily http://whatsonmypc.wordpress.com/!
