Google Made Me Smile

Folks, I got a call asking me “what happened to my Google?!” from someone who apparently thought hackers were at play… So I took a look, and darn near fell off my chair laughing.

GreatGoogles

Folks, I won’t tell you what my high score is.. but cruise on over to www.google.com and click on “Insert Coin”. (Hint: some of the old strategy will work..)

Hard to believe, it’s been 30 years… but it is Pac Man’s 30th anniversary. I don’t know about you, but I played a few games of Pac Man in my life. (See, Its PacMan 30th anniversary and its still going strong)

Genius.

      • I don’t know why that link didn’t work from within the email, but it works just fine here. Heck, it even worked from the email notifying me of your comment!

    • Ranjan,
Your comment gave me an excuse to post a link to an online, playable (free) version of a classic video game.. I’m sorry if it wasn’t quite the response you were looking for.. but maybe future readers will appreciate the information.

  4. Google impressed PacMan fans with their logo today. It was great, playing it brings me to few years back though PacMan is older than me. :P

    • Avatar,
I am older, and I watched all this tech come into being. When I was growing up, everything was analog, there were no ATM machines, and a pocket-sized cordless telephone was wild, Science Fiction fantasy. I was an adult when I got my first computer.

But I try to keep up.

  5. Paul,

Funny how these popular little games can now be embedded into a browser. At one point in time, took a pretty good computer to run these (LOL).
