Special Sunday Edition: Another Chance
Folks, I don’t normally post on Sundays, but I thought you might want to be aware of a current software license drawing that just came to my attention.
Back in March, I had the pleasure and privilege of awarding “business use” licenses (to ten of my readers) for LAlarm, a laptop alarm anti-theft tool.
“Laptop theft is common and a constant threat. Thwart thieves with the free (for personal use) program – LAlarm – which emits a loud siren sound when a thief tries to steal your laptop. More importantly (IMHO) it can destroy selected data (and also retrieve it) if the laptop is stolen — which is an important step in protecting your “identity”, and personal information.”
For those of you who missed out on winning a license, you have another chance as Gizmos For Geeks is currently running a drawing contest for 30 licenses (yes, 30!). To go there and enter, click here. (The site is certainly worth a visit even if you aren’t interested in this contest, so check it out.)
Note: LAlarm is free for personal use.
