Handy Backup License Giveaway Winners Announced

The folks at Novosoft generously donated five licenses for Handy Backup Standard to me to award to my readers. I sincerely thank them for that.

Handy Backup is a program for creating “backup copies” of the files on your computer, which regular readers know, is something I repeatedly urge people to get into the habit of doing! With a backup program like Handy Backup, you don’t need a ‘habit’, you can set-it-and-forget-it.

CNet Editors say,
“Handy Backup Standard offers users an easy, streamlined approach to backing up important files and folders. Novice users will especially appreciate the program’s easy navigation.”

Publisher’s description:

Handy Backup™ Standard is an easy-to-use backup software designed to perform automated backup of your computer. User-friendly interface and a rich set of backup features make it one of the best PC backup software for home and small office use.

Again, I thank the folks at Novosoft for making this giveaway possible. A 30-day free trial can be downloaded here, Download Handy Backup. Try it out yourself.

Without further ado: Congratulations to..

HBwins

Winners have been sent an e-mail, containing their license keys, with the subject “Handy Backup Standard License Winner”. (You may need to check your Junk folder.)

My thanks to all who participated in this contest.

A little advice, as part of your backup process, first and foremost, backup your license! :P

    • Ranjan,
      Absolutely.

Often times, making a backup of the Registry will work for that. In this case, an e-mail “archive” will work too.
But I write down all my license keys in a notebook I keep. (Sometimes the “old school” ways still work.)

      • It’s cool to see people win stuff, Paul. It’s a great feeling.

You’re very generous with your giveaways and your expertise, and your blog is always an interesting read. It’s amazing how much stuff there is out there to learn. To have someone sort out the good stuff from the bad for us is one of the reasons so many people visit regularly. The web can be a minefield if you don’t know what you’re looking for.

        Thanks Paul.

        • Paul Andrew Russell,
          Thank you for that.

I just have to disagree with you a little, teeny, bit.. and change “can be” to “is“!

          Have a good weekend.

    • Adrian,
There are several adages, fables, and proverbs which speak on the theory of “if at first you don’t succeed, try, try, again” (and all of them have happy endings). I won’t repeat them here, I will simply say “check here tomorrow”.
