A SUPER-Grand Day For… (drum roll please)

I want to start this out by saying to you, Dear Reader, that this special day would not be happening if it were not for my high regard this product and the people responsible for it. When I was asked to be involved, I did not hesitate to agree.
(Please see, People Make The Difference and I Answer A Common Question.)

SUPERAntiSpyware logo

SUPERAntiSpyware is a program for combating spyware and Internet threats. It is an anti-malware tool that I use on the job; on my own machines; recommend to clients; and install on the PC’s of my friends and family. I’ll tell you why — it’s simple and it’s effective. Since it “plays well” with most other security programs, SAS makes a great additional layer of protection to your existing antivirus/security solution.

A SUPER-Special Software License Giveaway

To help celebrate SUPERAntiSpyware’s recent inclusion in VirusTotal’s premier file analyzing service, the good folks there at SUPERAntiSpyware (known in the biz as “SAS”) generously donated 10 Professional Edition licenses to me – “lifetime” licenses no less – to award to my readers.

I did say “SUPER-Special”…
All entrants were placed into’s “list randomizer”, and the top result was winner of the Grand Prize: a 5-pack of SUPERAntiSpyware Pro. (I will mention this winner last.. naturally!)

I then removed the Grand Prize winner from the list, and “re-shook the hat”, so to speak. The top 5 names will each receive a single-use Lifetime license (retail $39.90). Those 5 lucky winners are

And The GRAND PRIZE Winner Is..

  1. Paul – I want to thank you again for hosting this giveaway. We really appreciate your support. I was thinking back to when I started here a few years ago. You were one of the very first contacts I made, and I’ve appreciated the emails, comments, and laughs we’ve exchanged over that time. We look forward to working with you and your readers for many more to come. Thanks again – Mike, SUPERAntiSpyware

    • Mike,
It is both a privilege and a pleasure to help spread the word about SUPERAntiSpyware. I am an unabashed fan.

Your generosity is appreciated here, not just for these licenses, but for the fact that you make SAS freely available – and I hope you will let everyone there at SAS Headquarters know that I said so.

SUPER product. SUPER Giveaway! You guys rock! (I think that is semi-current lingo ..)

SUPER-Grand congratulations! I hope you enjoy the software!

I’m trying to recall.. was it you who – in another contest entry – said, “I never win”?

      Comment by techpaul | July 30, 2010 | Reply

      • Lets just say that given the amount of draws I enter my win rate has been somewhat low…but this certainly changes the tide! Booya…

Thank you for this. You display more character than some of the people who actually win.

  5. Just got home from work, and opened my mail—WOW !!!!
[That, in reality, was over an hour ago, and I am still awe-struck !!!….You have made an ‘older’ man […but still Active–AHEM!] very happy!!

Congratulations/Kudos to all persons involved both actively and [those behind the scenes] passively.

Thank you, SAS ! Just read the ‘SUPERAntiSpyware Awards and Accolades’ list:

Those commendations don’t get any better, nor do they come from any higher sources, in or out [side] of the native industry. And with malware of all types on a severe rise, I am very appreciative and thankful for the license [and updates], as well as all the hard work it took SAS to bring the program to fruition. Kudos again, to all the SAS staff involved.

Last, but not least, Thank You, Paul and Mike

    Most Sincerely,
    Sam Lyckholm

    • WOW !!!! is right, Sam.
Sheeze. Try to show a little enthusiasm, will ‘ya? (wink)

… a reaction like that reminds me of why I did these contests in the first place. Congratulations and I hope you enjoy the software!
