  1. Wow! That is truly a beautiful scene to behold, though I’m glad to behold it from the comfort of my well-heated apartment! :-D

    • IzaakMak,
Nice to see your name here again.

Yes, there is a certain.. um, bbbrrrrrrrr! factor I get looking at that.

I have heard rumor, though, there are some humans who actually seek out such environs.. and claim to feel “invigorated” and “alive”in them. I have seen footage taken of these humans actually cavorting in the frozen H2O, all smiles, and rosy glows on their faces.

Seriously now, and all kidding aside, when I look at this, I see a photo that reminds me of the photos I have seen of the Battle of the Bulge.. and I get “the willies”. I hope for most, though, it occasions happier memories.

  2. Such a beautiful, winter,seasonal scene… evergreens… one of my favorite trees.

This photo brings back memories of the “traditional cutting down our xmas tree,”
walking through the woods, often knee deep in snow, searching for the perfect tree.

The gently falling snow lovely and realistic.

    Thanks for this Paul

    • Gaia,
That is what I was hoping it would “trigger” in folks — the outing to go get a Yule tree.

      The old-fashioned way.
