I have to confess, today’s image is … different. But there is something about it I like.
I hope you will too.

Today’s free link: ABC Australia has a page with several satellite images of Japan. When you hover your cursor over the image, and slide to left, you see how it looks now, after the quake and waves.. To see these before/after images, click here.

For admins: Frustrated With Gullible End-users Causing Malware Infections?

Today, more than 60 percent of malware infections are caused by social engineering. The bad guys bypass your endpoint security and go after your users. Is it really going to take a serious security incident for your organization to start training those uneducated end-users? It only takes -one- naive user to click on a zero-day phishing link to cause enormous damage, up to bankruptcy. If you are frustrated with malware infections, it’s time to do something about it. Need ammo to convince management? Get your Free Phishing Security Test now, and find out what percentage of your employees are Phish-prone™. That will shake loose some budget!: http://www.wservernews.com/G4KP1E/110314-Phishing-Security-Test

Apres pos of nothing at all: Thanks to my recent subscription to Netflix (free trial available), I have “discovered” a (new to me) TV show (and being able to watch it from the beginning, commercial free, is pretty kewel) that I am really enjoying — maybe you’ve seen it?

For some unfathomable reason.. I seem to “identify” with Mr. Monk..
(I am not a “TV guy”. Too many commercials [done in *extremely poor* taste].)

    • Paul,
Out here in Kooky Kallyfornyah, there is a hippie bumpersticker slogan version of “Life is just plain weird sometimes”.. it goes “Life is a trip”. (And I have been known to mutter it from time to time..)

Thank you for sharing Hello, My Name’s Paul and I’m a ‘Monk’ with us. I enjoyed reading it (and the comments it received) and I hope my readers will click, read, and enjoy it too.

(I don’t ‘relate’ to Mr. Monk because I have OCD or phobias or ‘quirks’ like him.. thankfully!!!, but .. I’m not sure why, actually. Maybe it’s because in spite of his challenges, he does the Right Thing. And in spite of meekness, there’s something noble about him..
      Hard to describe.)

    • Gaia,
Summertime is my fave, and I look forward to its arrival – true enough. I hope to get to the beach this year.. I am afraid that it has been too long since I have gone.
