delenn13,
Several readers have sent me that cartoon, (thinking I might ‘relate’) and – yes – it does fairly accurately depict things while providing a smile. I agree with his The State of the Web – Summer 2011 too.

I remember my aunt with her SIX toolbars. Geesh! NTM once I got it cleaned up, she couldn’t get to any of her web sites(which was probably a good thing). She had been using her history to get to her sites….didn’t have anything in Favs.
And his mother would be better if she just spread chia seeds all over her PC and poured water over it. She always has problems. He installs all this anti virus/malware stuff..and nothing is ever there the next time she calls her.

delenn13,
Six is not my personal record {in fact, I wondered how the author had managed to steal my [unpublished] screenshot ;-) }
Naturally, when I asked how they got there, the answer was “I have no idea, they just showed up”. (It always is.)
Sometimes I don’t know who to be madder at – but in the case of toolbars, I do: the
deletedskuzballs who bundle them into installers (Like, Adobe, Sun/Oracle, et al.. and yes, even the freeware authors. Show more class is all I gotta say.)LikeLike
