SB 46 + SB 76 + Commercials
It is kind of fun to consider that I can write anything I please today.
Because I have no fear that anyone will see it…
After all, today is “Super Bowl Sunday”, and nobody reads tech blogs on SB Sunday.
En – Oh – body.
So I can write that I do not care one whit about today’s game, and will not be paying it any mind (I may ‘tune in’ to the commercials, though) and have no desire to see Madonna and Cirque du Soleil (who does in 2012?).
Though, it is mildly interesting to me that for the first time, we can watch the game on the Internet, live .. even on our phones.
I guess I will say that I guess I prefer that the Pats beat the Giants – the team that knocked off my Niners. But the Giants are favored, so… I’ll take the Pats and the points.
It has become a tradition here that I post a “Sunday Beauty” image, so I may as well do that.. for tradition’s sake:

Hey Paul…thanks for posting today. Sunday Beauty is my Fav.
The Snow Capped Mountains…It’s Forest, Floral and Fauna…a picture to paint…Paradise on my wall!
The Vids of the Super Bowl Commercials are interesting too! Only yesterday I listened to a Doc. on CBC Radio (Canada) …they made a Big-To-Do over those Commercials. I had never watched a Super Bowl game, (guys stuff, ha) so not knowing what the commercials were about…well I was curious…I watched the vids here.
I think they are entertaining…good, funny, sexy and gross!
I certainly understand why it costs millions of $’s to make and produce those advertisements.

At least it was a close scoring game, although I didn’t care who won. Having to “root” for someone, I found myself switching sides throughout the entire game. Kinda weird. I picked the Pats with a score of 21-17… wrong again. Got it backwards, just like I did with the SF-NY post-season game. Good thing I don’t gamble!

I am of a stripe that is far too timid and frugal to wager actual dollars myself.. but I have bought a couple lottery ‘quick picks’ when the jackpot reached “I want a chance at that!” heights.. that’s “gambling”, I guess.
As for the game itself.. good game:
Good officiating.
Drama to the final tick of the clock.
No unsportsmanslike
Witnessing two future Hall Of Famers in their prime.
Enough scoring so you didn’t fall asleep and enough defense so you knew the teams were “for real”.
.. even Madonna was mildly enjoyable.

I have found that I cannot get any work done when I use an image such as that one for a Desktop “wallpaper”.. (it makes my mind start wandering the trails).
