Yesterday’s regularly scheduled programming was preempted by a special event (see, Recognition Of A Special Day) and so I feel I should make it up to you, Dear Reader, and post some “Friday Fun” today.
Not that anyone will see it… nobody reads me on Saturdays…

I am a Retired computer & network technician. I used to think the machines were pretty cool. Now I don’t.
They’re anything but.
I regularly posted how-to’s and tricks & tips and general computing advice here starting in 2007. (Use the Search tool to find answers. But be aware, many are rather dated.) Sometimes I answered (your) specific questions in an article if I believed the answer was generally helpful to “everyone”. All the writing you see was my own, typos and all. There always is/was an implied “IMHO” in what you see here.

Hey, I read you on Saturday, Sunday, and every other day of the week.
I’m not as stupid as many of those characters in the video seem to be.
I don’t leave many comments here but I do read all of your posts.
Maybe the blocking of all 3rd Party Elements in Ghostery (a Firefox add-on) is defeating your counter.

Loyal readers are aware (but it’s worth mentioning again) that I use Mozilla’s Firefox browser. And I do so because of the security, privacy, and ad blocking plugins (called “Add ons”) available for it (and I simply say “No thanks” each week when a new version is released). Ghostery (scroll down for RL reviews) is one such add on, and I am glad to hear that someone out there is taking advantage of its availability.
As for the other thing.. I have to confess I was feeling a bit frisky, and that line was an obscure reference to an article I wrote a long, long time ago now.. (Nobody reads me on Saturdays).
(I think maybe one.. or possibly two.. people out there might have “caught” that one.)

Well, I read you every day..just may not on THAT day because of things..and well..just RL. This week especially. Been busier than a one armed paper hanger with the crabs…Can’t I say that? Oops, I just did.
