The fact that this particular case was in an appellate court.. and all bets are off if you are trying to cross a border.. and apparently it matters what state you’re in..

Yes.. I think it is safe to say that this is a ‘fluid’ situation, and what is true today probably won’t be true tomorrow.

But, hey. If you aren’t guilty – you shouldn’t have anything to hide..

(It sure seems to this lil ‘ole country boy, in today’s world, you are guilty until proven innocent.)

Evernote’s “web clipper” does come in handy.

And since you are feeling so generous… could I ask you to check the “open link in new tab” option box? (target=”_blank”)
      I made myself chuckle there..
Your contributions are very welcome here, and I hope you’ll keep them coming.

      From my earlier writings..

Today’s free download: I’ve been using the “cloud-based” Evernote for the past few weeks to take notes, and create To Do lists. (OneNote is the Microsoft app for that purpose.) My primary interest was due to the fact that I learned Evernote worked on Android smartphones. I found it lets me easily add recorded sound, pictures, and videos to my notes, then sync them to my laptop, and to my PCs at home. In fact, you can capture pretty much anything you see or hear in the notes, then access the notes from nearly every computer, smartphone, and tablet on the market: Windows, Mac OS X, iOS, Android, and so on. And your notes are searchable.. a big “plus”!

      Comment by techpaul | March 11, 2012 | Reply

      • Another tab? No! I have about 50 open right now.

I have been using Evernote since November 15, 2007 when GOTD gave it out. Seen a lot of changes since then. I use it a lot. When it first came out it wasn’t portable or “in the cloud” .. This is ALL it did…

“EverNote allows you to easily capture any information you like, and find it whenever you want. Create text or handwritten notes, import mobile phone snapshots, clip web pages, and grab content from any application directly into EverNote – so everything is kept in a single place.

Once your data is in EverNote, find it quickly using our advanced search, automatic and custom categories, and intuitive interface.

EverNote innovates by storing content on an endless, virtual roll of paper. You can quickly scroll chronologically through your notes similar to scanning through handwritten notes in a notebook.”

Then in March 2008 they released a Beta. “Evernote Beta lets you capture any information from your real and digital life and then find it all easily anytime.

The latest version of Evernote, currently an invitation-only beta, gives users more options than ever before to create and find their memories – a Windows version (main download links), Mac version, Web version, Windows Mobile version, Mobile Web version, browser web page clippers, and more. All clients can be synchronized to one another via the web, ensuring that anything created in one place is accessible from all others.

In addition, all users now have access to Evernote’s powerful image recognition, which recognizes text inside of images so users can take camera phone snapshots of anything from whiteboards to wine labels.”

They have come a long way.

          True enough.

But, you know, while on the one side of the coin, this stuff is amazing.. I have to say that Evernote/Google Goggles/Facial recognition – type of stuff makes me a little nervous too.

And I don’t like that my smart phone is smarter than me..
