Repair Internet Explorer
Sometimes things go wrong with PC’s.
When that something is your web browser, and you cannot surf the ‘net, or log in to your email, or Google Docs, well, that kind of defeats the whole purpose of having a computer.
There can be many reasons your browser can get ‘corrupted’ – from viruses, to Updates failing to install properly, and also “cookies” can ‘go bad’ – and so there is no 1-click-cures-all, (wouldn’t that be great?) but here are some things you can do to try to get Internet Explorer working like it should, and/or working like you want it to .
[note: much of the practical steps described in the article links below can be applied to other web browsers.. ]

Since I keep so many tabs in my Firefox open at 1 times(even with using BarTab), sometimes when I go to open, it won’t restore tabs. So I make 2 backups a day, every day. One sandboxed and the other not… at 9 am and 5 pm every day using FEBE. FEBE Firefox Extension Takes me 3 mins to restore my browser to its best. :)
I don’t use IE enough to screw it up..LOL I think I may have opened it up(by mistake) once this year.

delenn13,
It’s been a long time since I mentioned FEBE here… And I confess I had kind of forgotten about it, so thank you for the reminder.
(Trying to cut down on my browser tabs habit, you see..)

Hey Paul…Good Karma here…timely as well! Your previous and current postings about Internet Explorer were a big help in resolving some problems I was having on my X P. (yes…I know X P’s are in the family of the Relics, ha.)
Mainly, I was dealing with the Up Dates,Java Script,Task Bar Icons…it seemed as if everything was out of whack.
Remembering that you had written on this subject …I went through the menu of all your postings. Without much “to-do” Eureka…I found what I needed… great!
I proceeded and with the help of a friend, we got those things “up-and running-smoothly-again.”
My friend was very impressed with the Immediate help we found on your blog.
Thanks, Paul for this… also for all that you write about. Now…to go through my Sony Laptop stuff…to fine tune it… with the help of Tech-For Everyone.
