Beautiful Fields Of Wildflowers!
What if we got away from our traditional gardens, and grew Drought Tolerant Plants …like these wildflowers, perennials and others? That would reduce time and money on irrigation…also these plants do well in poor soil. That way of gardening sure would serve us well during the periods of the dry, hot weather.

Gaia,
You may find this hard to believe.. but ‘ole Tech Paul has done some landscaping. Here in California we frequently have drought periods, (some are actual) and you won’t live here long before you hear your first prompting to conserve. There has long been a .. “movement” to use “drought resistant” and/or “native specie” when selecting plants.
I don’t know how popular this movement is elsewhere, but here it has been around at least as long as I have (and that is some time..).

Love the pic.. :)
I have been working on a slide show for my church since yesterday afternoon and have to have it done by tomorrow. So I am busy, busy, busy. In fact, I just got to my email..
Download crew is offering Ashampoo Photo Commander 9 for free for 24 hours. Right now it is approximately 20 hours. Yadda, Yadda about the spam emails..I am getting it. Their graphic programs are awesome. You decide for yourself.
In fact, the above paragraph will make my life much easier with these photos I am working with for the slide show.
Ashampoo Photo Commander 9
Laters…enjoy!

delenn13,
Thank you for that ‘heads up’.
I have been using some Ashampoo products for years now – without complaint – and had no troubles (aka ‘spamming’) after “joining” their website (to gain access to better ‘freebies’). I have not tried Photo Commander, but that’s just because once I found Paint.Net, I stopped fiddling with trying the other image editors (I use PhotoScape when I want to add some ‘effects’). I am confident it measures up to their other titles.
Kind of a funny name, but good software.
