Facebook stock plunge sounds alarm on California’s budget

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (KGO) — “Facebook’s plunging stock price is now sinking California’s hope of keeping the state’s budget above water. Gov. Jerry Brown hoped the state would get nearly $2 billion dollars in tax revenue when Facebook began trading publicly in May.” Read more..

… putting together a budget based on expecting the stock market to behave a certain way… Well, I guess that’s no dumber than giving 18 year-old’s credit cards, and establishing a buy-now-hopefully-pay-later mindset.

All this because Facebook is not efficient at pumping ads to your smartphone. (Ads we neither want nor need.)

IMHO, the lunatics are running the asylum. Seems simple as that…
