      Thank you for taking the time to share that with us.. and I am glad to hear someone had a good (gardening) year. (Between the gophers and the squirrels, I got a whole bunch of nuttin for my efforts. But it was fun to try.)

      And also, yes, I imagine there is an army of landscapers, working full time, at Versailles.

      • A bit of rain helps too… I gave my gardens and ornamental trees just barely enough water to keep them alive (so far) this year, but stick a fork in me. I am SO done! Last I heard we were over 9 inches behind on precip here in the midwest.

          I understand many areas of N. America are in drought conditions. So I am hoping for a wet Fall. and I suspect other folks are as well.
