Viewing The View..
Glancing out, towards the horizon, let us see what we can see…
Three scammers scamming,
Two exclamation points,
ONE golden ATM card.
I also received a very REAL-looking notice from Amazon telling me my 42″ HDTV had shipped to an address in Kentucky.
Only.. I didn’t order a TV.. and live several states away from Kentucky..
And every hyperlink pointed to a URL (web address) ending in dot ru (“.ru”)
Russia.
(I hear that’s where the cyber mafia lives.)
Wonder what would have happened had I clicked?
Similarly…
Today’s quotable quote: “A government that robs Peter to pay Paul can always depend on the support of Paul.” ~ George Bernard Shaw
PS: Yes. That “Dearest one” was the same old form we’ve come to know and love over the last 20 years..

I had heard about the CyberLink PhotoDirector 2011 (Win) for free yesterday but since I loath anything CyberLink does because it slows down your PC and takes it over..I didn’t post it. IIRC it kept crashing(unstable) my PC and was soooo slow even with 4Gs of ram. That goes for their Video software also. Maybe others have had better luck with it..but I try to avoid CyberLink anything.
People are posting this..so here it is Get CyberLink PhotoDirector 2011 (Win) for free | The Cheapskate – CNET News It’s normally $ 100.00.
However I do have this ..Not Free..But $ 9.99 versus $49.98 seems reasonable.

delenn13,
I understand swords & sorcery remains a popular genre. (But I hung up my 20-sided dice long ago.)
As always, I appreciate your taking the time to share with us. (The only “Cyberlink” I have ever run into, in my limited computer experience, has been the burning “studio” that OEMs would helpfully add for us.. so no comment there.)
