Foot In Mouth Disease
Man, sometimes I feel like such a jackass.
But in my own defense, I did not learn of yesterday’s tragic news until well after posting those frivolous videos.
Another school massacre …
I do not know what to say.

I am a Retired computer & network technician. I used to think the machines were pretty cool. Now I don’t.
They’re anything but.
I regularly posted how-to’s and tricks & tips and general computing advice here starting in 2007. (Use the Search tool to find answers. But be aware, many are rather dated.) Sometimes I answered (your) specific questions in an article if I believed the answer was generally helpful to “everyone”. All the writing you see was my own, typos and all. There always is/was an implied “IMHO” in what you see here.

MikeyK,
Every Friday, for some time now, I have been posting a “fun” video, and yesterday’s posting was just following that tradition. The news I heard later was quite a sobering kick in the gut.
I appreciate this. Thanks.

Here is a soothing gentle version of What Child is This by Lindsey Stirling. Some of us may need this after yesterday. Glad I have joined her channel….
Don’t blame yourself, Paul. How were you to know?

delenne13…Thanks for this:
As we get caught up in our own worlds losing touch with the rest of the world…we sometimes need reminders such as: What Child Is This…(a beautiful rendition) a favorite Xmas song of mine.
More meaningful is the reality of the tragic loss of those “dear innocent little lives”!
Let’s get our humanities/priorities straight…”stop the hate”…get rid of the violence! Humanness First…Guns Later…( controversial I know…but hopefully food for thought)

@anonymous: a REAL good start [or at the very least “workable controls” !! –How about this—Bring home ALL the troops, With the “hometown” geographic diversity, assign one per school as “Federal Guard”. Never seen one who couldn’t “out-draw” [Read: think/negotiate], Matt Dillon—and combat training to boot !!! Think we need to “clean up our own backyard”, before telling/showing others how to do it.
Took a long time—but Sincerely,
