Tech – for Everyone

Tech Tips and Tricks & Advice – written in plain English.

It is March already …

Howdy friends and neighbors. Glad it is the weekend?

Me too.

A quick question for those of you who made new year’s resolutions: Are you sticking with the program, or did those good intentions slip into the roadside ditch already?

I know you don’t care.. but this week has had me doing a little introspection, and looking at things “big picture”. So, what the hay, I’ll share this next: I just finished putting up a stretch of fencing. Not a big job: drive a few iron poles, and uncoil a big 4′ roll of 1×3 wire fencing — it was merely a critter fence — but I came away from the job thinking that good honest outdoor labor like that is kinda .. “good”. And I don’t care if it’s “blue collar”.

I guess I better keep telling myself that, too, as with Spring approaching, I think there’s going to be a few more such projects in the days ahead. And that my first-small-engine-start-of-the-year episodes are looming as well. (If you have a minute, you might enjoy my old article A few extra tugs.)

Even with the prospect of all that work, I’m still eager for Spring (warmer, longer days, flowers blooming) to hurry up and get here.

Let’s be safe out there. And have a great weekend.
