Friday – Wrap Up & Fun Video

Sheeze, the week’s over already.

The best article I read this week came out today (and it explains why I am not posting daily tips & tricks any longer):

It’s not about Windows: The repairable PC is dead

My ZDNet colleague, Adrian Kingsley-Hughes, has aired his grievances about Windows PCs and has decided to switch to Macs. But I reckon the root cause of his mid-life computing crisis runs deeper than just the OS.Read more..

[ no.. I will not be ‘switching’ to Macs, as Adrian says he’s gonna. I have several; and find them utterly boring (as boring as repeating Kindergarten would be).]

It’s a good read, even if you’re not a tech enthusiast (and whether you agree with the author or not).

* I have posted today’s Friday Fun Video before, but I have recently been studying (ahem) stress, and the health benefits of maintaining a can-do, optimistic-and-grateful, “positive” outlook on life. Science says that such clueless inanity (or delusional thinking, take your pick) reduces your likelihood of catching colds/flu, having a heart attack or stroke, and being lonely due to lack of friends.

So maybe there’s some good advice here……..

.. and yes, you might wanna “sing it note for note”.

.. and I do know that since I stopped being a talk radio/news junky, it’s been easier to smile.

Today’s quote:Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.” ~ Leo Buscaglia
