Windows X Review

Many of you will be aware today is ‘Windows 10 Day’ (meaning, you can get it today). And many of you are wondering what I think of it. (I’ve already said, “wait for the Service Pack”.) No I won’t be downloading it — I don’t want any of it’s new “features” (they’re kinda creepy, in a Big Brother kind of way) and I use what it will remove (i.e., Media Center), so, I refer you instead to this article for a detailed review of Microsoft’s latest operating system.

A three video day

Tuesday “Fun”

Had a surprise today > I actually came across an Elvis song I’d never heard before (how is that possible?) and even more surprising (to me) I think I like it the best of his recordings.. Since it’s a gorgeous day, and I’m in an uptempo mood, here it is:

And I also discovered the name of a tune I’m sure we’ve all heard some place, some time. A few of you will note, this is the first fun video I’ve posted in the genre. (And I had forgotten Steve Martin’s banjo skills..)

Warning: It’s an F for Flash security

Folks, if you haven’t done so already, you need to act now to protect yourself.

* Block or update Adobe Flash

My two cents: Adobe Reader and Adobe Flash have – for as long as I can remember – consistently topped the Most Vulnerable and Most Exploited lists. They’re *crud*. And Adobe should be taken to task. Remove them if you can.
