Today’s Friday Fun video is a bit different than my normal fare. It is an honorarium to those pieces of music that worm our way into our consciousnesses.. and remain instantly recognizable (some might say, “haunting”) the rest of our days.

Glad you enjoyed today’s fun video and, well.. you can keep your eyes open (or check your library) for The Dollars Trilogy (also known as the Man with No Name Trilogy) – three Spaghetti Westerns starring Clint Eastwood: A Fistful of Dollars, For a Few Dollars More, and The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. (Doing so will teach why one doesn’t want to be on the receiving end of Clint’s squint.)

Every now and again, when out in a public place, (such as the grocery store checkout) I whistle the first two ‘lines’ and then stop; and listen. Only once or twice has someone failed to pick it up and finish the ‘piece’. (That’s what I meant by “entered our consciousnesses”.. that whistle ‘sticks’.)
