… Okay. I know you noticed this is different than my usual, and that you’re wondering: what’s so “pretty” or “beautiful” about this image?

A: It’s not a recent picture of me (or, you). And that’s a beautiful thing..

Life may or may not be treating you too well at the moment, but.. that ain’t you. This was the image’s “blurb”:

“Foxy got fixed so has to wear this for a few more days”

Looking at that brightened my whole day!

(And, yes, I have had days where I felt like that was me…)

Enjoy your Sunday everybody!

  1. Yes…different somewhat sad and forlorn for Foxy! He is probably wondering “why they put this thing around my neck?”

    Thanks Paul

    • Gaia,
I think it is safe to say that Foxy was not a happy camper…

But I understand he was a “rescue” from a shelter, so his short term anguish is much preferable to an alternative fate, and I am happy for him.

(I have said it before, but will say it again: those working to rescue, and find homes for, animals get a big tip of my hat. Over the years, I have adopted several pets from the shelters, and never, ever, once regretted it. One dog was so much a mongrel mutt, the vet told me she was a “tutti-fruity breed, primarily”. Best dog I ever had..)

  2. I hate to say this, but it looks like a mounted trophy to me. LOL

    • Balmy33,
Yeah, I “saw” that too. Either way.. I am glad it ain’t me!
