    It sounds to me like MS is in bed with PC MFG’s…

      Well, there is an interesting “relationship” there. But it was MS who coded Windows 8 to require “Pro” if you want to ‘downgrade’ (not some manufacturer’s decision) .. And I’m still trying to figure what’s up with (their) EUFI. (Other than right now I don’t want it.)

      I think a ‘wait and see’ is only fair (and I’m glad Win 7 machines are still available [for now]).
