To me, these articles are funny/ironic. (And years behind what you’ve read here.) But there are important lessons here.

It’s a good thing I’m not dependent on electricity.. you know? Like to cook, and stay warm/cool… or drive to work (traffic lights)..

Well, there is an interesting “relationship” there. But it was MS who coded Windows 8 to require “Pro” if you want to ‘downgrade’ (not some manufacturer’s decision) .. And I’m still trying to figure what’s up with (their) EUFI. (Other than right now I don’t want it.)
I think a ‘wait and see’ is only fair (and I’m glad Win 7 machines are still available [for now]).
